Finally Lose the Weight You Want – and Keep it Off!

2017 is here, and most of us have put a healthier lifestyle, eating better, and losing some weight on top of our resolutions list. And in doing so, the choices are overwhelming: diet plans, “magic potions” and the latest kooky trends. Your Almased Weight Loss Journey

Your Almased weight loss journey divides into 4 simple phases, which not only help you lose weight but also make healthier food choices. Once you achieved your goal weight, you can continue using Almased as part of your new healthy lifestyle to keep your weight in check, your energy levels high, and your wellness at an optimal level.

The Starting Phase

You start with what we call the “Starting Phase,” or sometimes “Fasting Phase.” You can stay in this phase for three days up to two weeks, or even longer if you feel well. You will have three Almased shakes per day instead of your regular meals, as well as plenty of water, herbal tea, and home-made broth.

Use the Classic Recipe in this phase for the best results. You will reset your metabolism and achieve an initial weight loss that will be noticeable and keep you motivated to continue (who doesn’t like being told they look like they lost weight!). Studies have also shown that losing a good amount of weight at the beginning of the diet is the best prerequisite to sustaining your results long-term.

We know that not eating anything for a while doesn’t sound like much fun, but trust us: the results will be worth it! Once you get through the first few days, it will get more comfortable, you will feel great, and most importantly, you will see your weight melt away. And even though you will only consume liquids and reduce your calorie intake, the unique Almased formula will keep your metabolism up, helping to avoid the dreaded yo-yo effect. Plus, the high-quality protein in Almased ensures that the weight you lose is actual fat vs. muscle!

The Reduction Phase

Once you finish the first phase, you will enter the “Reduction Phase.” You will have two Almased shakes (preferably for breakfast and dinner) and have one healthy meal around 500-700 calories.

Emphasis on healthy, those two slices of pizza only count on veeery special occasions (we’re not saying deny yourself the occasional treat, but think birthday, a wedding, a promotion, etc. and get right back on track the next day)!

The reduction phase is where you will learn to make healthy choices, and it will get easier as you go along. We made it easy by giving you some great recipes to choose from (www.almased.com/recipes/smoothies.html). We recommend you keep fruit to a minimum because of the fructose, but we certainly won’t stop you from enjoying an apple or some strawberries for dessert or adding them to the occasional (!) shake.

Just keep in mind that the Classic Recipe mentioned above is the best way to success with Almased. You should stay in this phase until you reach your desired weight.

The Stability Phase

Once you get to where you want to be, you move on to the “Stability Phase,” during which you have one Almased shake (preferably for breakfast or dinner) and two healthy meals. The same rules as in the “Reduction Phase” apply.

This phase will help you get used to the increased calorie intake as well as continue to help you make good food choices. Stay in this phase for several weeks. You will still see some weight loss, but it will be slower.

The Life Phase

Congratulations, you did it! You are now entering the “Life Phase,” where you have three healthy meals per day, as well as an Almased shake as a healthy snack. Or, you can do like a lot of our customers do and continue to replace a meal a day with Almased. The choice is yours.
