4 Almased Protein Diet Shakes We Love A Latte

Life gets busy. With a ‘latte’ going on, it’s easy to skip breakfast in the mornings. Easily fix up a nutritious energizing breakfast by drinking Almased lattes in the morning. For all you coffee lovers out there, here are 4 quick and easy latte shake recipes.

1. Caramel Latte

Almased with a twist of caramel tastes delicious. You can add caramel flavor to your morning shakes to help wake up those taste buds.

Directions: To a shaker cup add 8 Tablespoons of Almased to 1 cup of fat-free or non-dairy milk. Then pour in cold coffee. You can brew your coffee the night before and refrigerate it or add instant coffee powder to the shake. Lastly, add the caramel flavor to your shake. 

Recipe tip: Keep a bottle of caramel extract in your pantry on days you crave caramel. Try one drop first to taste and if more is needed, add up to 1 tsp of caramel extract to your Almased meal shake.

2. Pumpkin Spice Latte

Our version of the pumpkin spice latte is packed with nutritious Almased. It’s a fall favorite of ours that gives us the satisfying taste of pumpkin spice and a full belly in the morning. 

Directions: To a blender add 8 Tablespoons Almased, 1 cup fat-free milk or non-dairy milk, 1/2 cup cold-brewed coffee, 2 Tablespoons pumpkin puree, 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice, and 1 tsp stevia (optional). Blend all ingredients in a blender for 1-2 minutes. 

Recipe tip: If you’re in a hurry, use canned pumpkin puree or skip it and add an extra teaspoon of pumpkin spice.

3. Golden Latte

Turmeric is a spice with powerful health benefits that have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. 

If there’s a spice you like and have been meaning to try, don’t be shy about adding a bit it to Almased. Remember, Almased shakes are versatile, so you can mix it in ways that you enjoy. 

Directions: Add all ingredients to a shaker cup: 8 Tbsp Almased, 1 cup non-dairy milk, 1/2 cup cold-brewed coffee, 1-2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, and tsp stevia (optional). Shake well, then enjoy.

4. Matcha Latte

This recipe doesn’t contain coffee per se, rather it can be an alternative to coffee, especially If you want the ‘wake-me-up’ effect without the coffee taste. Matcha is finely ground powder from green tea leaves. It is rich in antioxidants called polyphenols that have protective heart effects. Research shows that green tea can help boost metabolism. By having Almased plus matcha, you can give your metabolism a double boost. Check out how Almased can speed up the metabolism.

Directions: Dissolve 1/2 tsp matcha green tea powder in 2 oz hot water. Add 3-4 ice cubes to the mixture to cool it, set aside. In a shaker cup, add 8 Tablespoons Almased to 10 oz non-dairy milk. Then add matcha mixture and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. You may add 1 teaspoon of stevia (optional) for sweetness. Shake well, then enjoy.
