Quality sourcing

For more than 30 years, we have placed great value on formulating quality and effective products.

Unique manufacturing

Our formula was created using a unique yet gentle manufacturing process has proven itself in many international studies.

Non-GMO soy

For Almased, we use high-quality non-GMO soy produced from environmentally friendly selected cultivation. This is because the protein quality of soy is dependent on the cultivation area and the micronutrient content of the soil used to grow soy. In addition, our soy comes exclusively from a small region in North America. It is certified as "IP non-GMO" (Identity Preserved Non-Genetically Modified), which is regularly checked and confirmed by various renowned and independent laboratories, enabling us to guarantee consistent quality from seed to finished product.

Soy protein can also have numerous positive effects on health in many studies. This is because the soy protein specially produced for Almased plays a crucial role in our unique amino acid profile. At the same time, the combination of vegetable and animal protein is vital for the "Almased effect." With our yogurt, soy forms a valuable multi-component protein for maintaining and building muscle. Our soy protein, therefore, significantly contributes to the protein and amino acid richness of Almased.

Premium non-fat yogurt

Cows that grave naturally help aerate the ground with their hooves, fertilize the soil, and even encourage grass growth. This is why Almased sources its non-fat milk yogurt from happy cows in the EU, including Ireland and northern Germany, where they live in green pastures.

Yogurt contains animal-based proteins, which, when combined with soy plant-based protein, increases the biological value and bioavailability of proteins in Almased.

To preserve its naturalness and prevent loss of vitamins, Almased uses gentle processing of skimmed milk yogurt. During processing, casein, a milk protein, binds to calcium, ensuring high calcium content, which provides an excellent basis for nutrient richness in Almased, contributing to normal muscle function and energy metabolism.

Enzyme-rich honey

Many cultures have valued honey to be the food of gods or used as medicine for centuries. The nutritional power of honey is the reason why it was chosen as one of Almased's primary ingredients. Originating from honeybees from Central and South America and Europe, the honey produced for Almased is particularly rich in enzymes.

Added in liquid form and stirred gently at low temperatures, the honey in Almased maintains its vital enzymes and naturally occurring yeast, which allows fermentation to happen and continue even after the cans are sealed.

Fermentation is essential for increasing digestibility, improving nutrient absorption, and lowering sugar content. Multi-component proteins develop their full potential. Bioactive peptides with health-promoting properties are formed in the process. And with the optimal 2:1 ratio of protein to carbohydrates from bee honey, Almased has a low glycemic index of 27. This trifecta of benefits, thanks to honey, contributes to the nutritional synergy that forms during the manufacturing of Almased.

Over 30 Years of Research

The unique effects of Almased have been studied worldwide at renowned institutes such as the University of Freiburg, the West German Diabetes and Health Center (WDGZ), the London Metropolitan University, and the University of Alberta in Canada. Our research examines the effects of Almased on different areas of metabolic health and activity. In particular, our current research focuses on type 2 diabetes, energy metabolism (fat burning and calorie consumption), weight loss, appetite regulation, liver fat, muscle function and muscle building, HGH and anti-aging, immune function, and the intestinal microbiome.

Science Behind Almased

Natural in taste

As a natural product, Almased is neutral tasting. You can enjoy Almased plain or mix it with a shake recipe. Whether you like it sweet, fruity, or savory, Almased adapts to your favorite tastes.

To give you some ideas, mix dairy or plant-based milk (almond, oat, or coconut) with Almased for a creamy shake. Then, flavor it with ground cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin spice, instant coffee, unsweetened cocoa powder, or even peanut butter powder. To give it a fruity flavor, you can add a few drops of your favorite flavor extracts, like vanilla, coconut, or lemon.

Since the combinations of what you can add to Almased are endless, Almased shakes never get boring – and that’s one of the best things about Almased.
