My husband and I are the proud parents of six children. So for the better part of 14 years, I was either pregnant or nursing. Learning how to manage my weight in a healthy way became my passion. I’ve been following the Almased program for 5 ½ weeks with great success. I have reduced the first 20 pounds of a 60 pound journey. I started on Monday, February 2nd at 237 and weighed in on Wednesday, March 11th at 217. That’s only 5 ½ weeks and to see such amazing results is beyond my wildest dreams!
The program is simple. I have Almased shakes for breakfast and dinner along with some extra fiber and aloe juice. For lunch I usually have a big salad filled with lots of wonderful veggies and 4 oz of broiled chicken breast, topped off with a little dressing of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. I sometimes will have either ½ baked sweet potato or 1 cup of brown rice. If I’m hungry I might have an apple in the mid-afternoon. I’m completely de-coff-inated and almost de-caffinated!
I can’t say enough how wonderful this program is, it’s easy, the shakes are tasty and the weight is melting away. I’m fitting into clothes I haven’t worn in years. I plan to continue with Almased until I reach my goal.

I am 72 years old and I’ve had diabetes for 6 years. I started using Almased 2 years ago. At the time, my glucose level was 265. My cholesterol and triglycerides were both high. Depending on how I feel, I use Almased once a day or sometimes up to 3 times a day. I usually have it for breakfast. A shake of Almased fills me up, so I feel just right to move around and have energy for the day. I usually make my shake with a frozen banana, skim milk, ice cubes, and some Stevia to sweeten it. I also like to add some ground flaxseed to my shake for additional fiber and omega 3’s. For lunch, I eat lean meat, usually chicken with a salad and for dinner I have steamed fish and vegetables or my Almased shake.
I try to walk on the treadmill every day to stay active. This helps me with maintaining my weight. It is not easy for me to lose weight because of the medication that I have to take. It slows down my metabolism. So, I’m very happy that I found Almased.
I would recommend Almased to others! I’m a firm believer in this product. I know it works! I told a lot of my friends about it and they have had great success with it as well. One of my friends, who also has diabetes like me, began using Almased and losing weight. Now he is no longer on his diabetes medication. This product really works and I would recommend it to anyone.
