What can I substitue on the go if I cannot drink my shake

Usually with Almased I have found getting the shake down (my gag reflex is pretty high due to GERD) was a problem. This was until I found that frozen banana works great because it cools the shake down and smotthes it out. The only issue I have is that there are times I am on the go at night and cannot get my shake in until like 8 pm. I am wondering if there are any ideas on something healthy I can subsitute for my shake until I get home. Otherwise does anyone else have some good ideas on swallowing the mix without gagging? (and without using a frozen banana to mix with it?)

Hi Crimson_Kat: Typically we do not recommend adding fruits to the diet, since fruits can sometime interfere with weight loss. If you absolutely have to have fruits in your shake to help you get the shake down, try lower glycemic fruits such as berries. If you notice your weight loss stalling at any point, we recommend to forego adding fruits overall and try other alternatives such as mixing fruit flavored water (0 calories). I personally like to use Prodyne's fruit infusion pitchers to naturally flavor my water and mix it in with Almased. How many times a day are you using Almased? If you are using Almased twice daily, you can snack on healthy options such as yogurt, low-fat cheese and whole grain crackers, a handful of nuts or almonds, or raw veggies if necessary.
