I fell way off the wagon - please help!

Hi everybody! Ugh, this is hard to type. I am now on day 11. I fasted (at least 2 shakes, mostly 3 shakes) per day all last week and went from 146 to 141.4. My goal weight is 135, so I was blissfully happy. And then the weekend hit, and I totally self sabotaged. It was jam packed with party after party, drink after drink, snack after snack. I knew my the scale would reflect my actions, so I did not weigh myself yesterday. I had 2 shakes and ate a sensible dinner. I also drank an enormous amount of water (like a gallon or more.) This morning when I got the scale (after the bathroom), I was 148 pounds, 2 pounds MORE than when I started. Did I really manage to gain 7 pounds in a weekend? Am I retaining water or something? I didn't even think it was possible to gain weight so quickly. I'm getting back on track now (although it's hard to do completely broken-hearted). Has anyone out there had a similar experience? How did you get going again? I have 24 days until my big event, and now I have even further to go. Any and all comments appreciated. Thanks so much, Annie

Hi. Don't beat yourself up. Today is a new day. Once you get off track, get back on with the next meal or the next day. The next time (at a minimum) you have a bad weekend/meal, try to drink the almased before going to bed. It will still help you. I went on vacation right after my week of fasting. I ate bad during the day (no willpower) but in the hotel at night before I went to bed, I drank the shake. When I returned, I had not gained an ounce. This is just something to keep in mind in case you run into a snag. Best of success to you
