I do feel a little full and i'm excited as well, but omg the taste I had to chug it down.

Hello Haywood,

I'm sorry to hear that your first Almased experience wasn't pleasant.
What did you mix it with?

Elise gave great suggestions.
You can also try different flavored waters as a base, e.g. lemon or cucumber water (very delicious).
I also encourage you to check out the Almased shake recipes in our Fasting Figure Plan, starting on page 20 (http://www.almased.com/fi...ting_book%20view.pdf).

Don't give up after the first few shakes, sometimes it takes a few to get used to. As Elise said, it will get better and sometimes our taste buds may need some time to adjust to a different flavor/texture
Hope this will help.

Silke
Re:DAY ONE (tripleq)

 Hi Haywood,

The good news is that it gets easier to drink!

I am sure I will be one of many to make suggestions. Most users blend their shake, I found that the blender enhanced the flavor my taste buds did not care for so a shaker and straw works best for me. Keep in mind that water has the least amount of calories so try finding something that works with water before you find something calorie loaded. The Almased meal with water alone will keep you full.

I mix mine with water, Hershey's cocoa, ground flaxseed and flaxseed oil. The ground flaxseed gives it a nutty flavor, the cocoa does not give it a chocolate flavor but it does seem to camouflage the unwanted flavor best. I did try other flavorings/extracts and spices and the cocoa works best for me.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Elise

DAY ONE (HAYWOOD)

OMG, the taste was horrible what can I do to make it taste a little bit better.
